The management of College of Nursing Sciences Muslim Medical Foundations Saki Oyo State calls for application for admission from the public and qualified suitably candidates for the various nursing programmes of the institution. The School of Nursing is owned and managed by the governments of Oyo state. More so, the nursing training institutions has had all her programmes approved and accredited by the relevant educational and medical bodies in Nigeria. These bodies include; National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

Programmes offered in School of Nursing Sciences Muslim Medical Foundations Saki

  • National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing Programme

The National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing Programme is a four years non-terminal programmes. Graduates of the programme get registered as professional Registered Nurses (RN) by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Furthermore, they proceed for the one year compulsory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC).

  • Post Basic Nursing Programme
  • Post Basic Midwifery Programme

More so, the Post Basic Nursing Programme and Post Basic Midwifery Programme are 18 months programmes each call it one year six months programmes. Furthermore, the Post Basic Nursing Programme is designed for Registered Midwifes (RM) who wishes to go into Basic Nursing. While the Post Basic Midwifery Programme is designed for already Registered Nurses (RN) who wishes to go into Midwifery nursing.

  • Community Nursing Programme
  • Community Midwifery Programme

Lastly, Community Nursing Programme and Community Midwifery Programme are two (2) years programmes of 4 semesters each. The programme have two semesters in each academic session. The programmes are designed in School of Nursing Sciences Muslim Medical Foundations Saki to train students on how to manage Nursing and Midwifery services in the various health dispensaries in different communities and localities across the state.

Requirements for Admission into in School of Nursing Sciences Muslim Medical Foundations Saki

Prospective applicants must have the following before applying;

  • First, applicants must have at least 5 credit passes in their O-level result subjects. These subjects include Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English Language at a maximum of 2 sittings. More so, applicants for National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing Programmes must upload their O-level result(s) on JAMB CAPS in addition.
  • More so, applicants for National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing Programme must have registered for the just concluded JAMB and chose College of Nursing Sciences Muslim Medical Foundations Saki as their first choice institution. Thus, those who did not must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal.
  • Furthermore, National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing Programme candidates in College of Nursing Sciences Muslim Medical Foundations Saki must have sat for the just concluded UTME and score from 150 and above. The UTME subject combination must include; Use of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • Lastly, screening application fee is a non-refundable fee of N15,000 only.
