What are the Requirements for Admission?

The following are the requirements for admission into Plateau State College of Nursing and Midwifery Vom.

  • Applicants for admission must first of all have a minimum of five credit passes in their O-level result(s) relevant subjects which must include Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Biology and Chemistry at a maximum of two sittings. More so, applicants for admission into National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing must upload their O-level result(s) on JAMB portal in addition.
  • More so, prospective applicant for National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing must have registered for the just conclude JAMB and chose the Plateau State College of Nursing and Midwifery Vom as their first choice institution. Those who did not chose the college as their first choice institution can also apply. But they must carry out a change of institution on JAMB Portal and put the Plateau State College of Nursing and Midwifery Vom as their first choice institution in addition.
  • Furthermore, National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing applicants must have participated in the just concluded UTME. They must score the Plateau State College of Nursing and Midwifery Vom cut off mark and above. The cut college cut off mark is 170 and above in the following subjects; Use of English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Lastly, any subject outside the four above will not be considered for admission no matter the score.
  • Also, applicants for any of the Post Basic programmes must have their Practicing License in addition to being recognized by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) as Registered Nurses (RN) or Registered Midwifes (RM).
  • Lastly, candidates must be at least 17 years of age before applying.

  • Search and select College of Nursing Plateau State on Remita Search Bar.
  • On Name / purpose of service chose Admission form
  • Then enter the required details. Proceed to make payment online using your debit card or print out the receipt and proceed to any bank branch to make your payment.
  • Print out the evidence of payment which is the payment receipt.
  • Lastly, proceed to complete your application.
