The Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Health has announced the registration of new intended applicant seeking admission into the Akwa Ibom State School of Nursing for the first stream of 2025. This page will feed you with the necessary information about registration, venue, dates, requirements, and date for the entrance examination.

Application is Ongoing for admission into Akwa Ibom State College of Nursing Science for National Diploma (ND) Basic Nursing and Higher National Diploma (HND) Basic Nursing. Click here to read and apply

METHOD OF APPLICATION

The application process is done manually but you can click here  for some health updates in Akwa Ibom State. Therefore, applicants are to follow the following steps:

• Visit the Directorate of Nursing Service, Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Health, Idongesit Nkanga Secretariat Uyo.
• Copy out the admission account number
• Proceed to the stipulated commercial bank and pay the amount required of you
• Go back to the secretariat with the stamped Bank Teller
• Obtain the form and fill it correctly after pay.
• Submit the form back and alongside with the photocopy of the required documents

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRACTION FOR AKWA IBOM STATE SCHOOL OF NURSING:

Applicants must go the registration centre with the following items:

• Three recent passport photo (colour background)
• Original copy and photocopy of First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC)
• 2 Photocopies and original copies of O-level certificate or result (WAEC, GCE, or NECO)
• Candidates should have at least credits in five subjects which includes English Language, Mathematic, Biology, Chemistry and Physic in not more than two sittings. More so, applicant with two sittings can also apply.
•  Certificate of Birth or Age Declaration (affidavit)
• Certificate of Origin (local government or state)
• Newspaper change of name or change of name document (if applicable)

NOTE; all applicants must be 16 years of age and above. Underage applicants will not be eligible for admission.
