Basic General Nursing Programme

The Basic General Nursing in School of Nursing Baptist Medical Centre Saki is a three (3) years programme. This programme is split into three academic session of six semesters with two semesters each academic session. The Basic General Nursing Programme has been accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). More so, graduates of the Basic General Nursing get registered into the nursing profession as Registered Nurses (RN) by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

More so, Basic Midwifery Programmes offered in School of Nursing / Midwifery Baptist Medical Centre Saki is also a three (3) years programme. More so, the programme is further split into three (3) academic session of six semesters with two semesters each academic session. The Basic Midwifery Programme has been accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Lastly, graduates of the Basic General Nursing get registered into the midwifery profession as Registered Midwifes (RM) by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

Requirements for Admission into School of Nursing Baptist Medical Centre Saki.

  • Applicants for any of the two programmes offered in School of Nursing / Midwifery Baptist Medical Centre Saki must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in any one or two of WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB. More so, the five subjects must include; Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at a maximum of two sittings.
  • More so, applicants must not be less than seventeen years of age. Thus, underage applicants should not apply as they will not attended to.
