Mercy College of Nursing / Health Sciences Osogbo Admission

The Mercy College of Nursing and Mercy College of Health Sciences and Technology Ido-Osun, Osogbo invite the general public and interested applicants for admission into the various programmes of the school. Mercy Hospital has two medical institutions within it. They include; Mercy College of Nursing and Mercy College of Health Technology and Sciences.  Both institutions are located in Mercy Hospital Ido-Osun. Read below for the programmes offered by both schools ad their requirements for admission.

Programmes Offered In Mercy College of Nursing

  • Basic Nursing Programme
  • Basic Midwifery Programme

The programmes offered in the college of nursing have been given the necessary accreditation by the Nursing and Midwifery Council Nigeria (NMCN). Thus, at the conclusion of the programmes, graduates get registered by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) as Registered Nurse (RN) of Registered Midwife (RM) in addition.

The following programmes are offered in Mercy College of Health Sciences and Technology;

  • Pharmacy Technician
  • Traditional Medicine
  • Health Technology
  • Community Health Extension Workers
  • Health Assistant
  • Junior Community Health Extension Workers
  • Medical Laboratory Technician
  • Health Technician

Mercy College of Health Sciences

Graduates of programmes offered in Mercy College of Health Sciences and Technology obtain either National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) depending on the programme they study. Furthermore, above programmes have been given necessary approval by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

Requirements for Admission

The following are the requirements for admission into any of the programmes at Mercy Colleges (Nursing and Health Technology)

  • First, prospective applicants for any of the programmes at Mercy College of Nursing and College of Health Technology must have at least five credit pass in their O-level relevant subjects. More so, the subjects must include; Mathematics, Physics, English Language, Biology, and Chemistry at a maximum of two sittings.
  • Applicants for admission must be at least 17 years of age before they apply. Underage applicant will not be attended.
  • More so, applicants for programmes in in Mercy College of Health Technology and Sciences with awaiting result(s) can also apply.
  • Lastly, all applicants must pay a non-refundable application fee of N10,000 only.

  • Fill the form on the next page with your correct details.
  • Scan and upload a passport size photograph with a plain background. More so, passport must be in JPEG format and not more than 5mb in size in addition.
  • Then click on the Next button to move to the next page
  • Fill in your O-level result details.
  • Then Click on the Submit to finish your application
  • Lastly, print your application slip. More so the application slip will be use at the screening venue.
