UNIUYO CONTINUING EDUCATION – HOW TO APPLY

Apart from the Regular/Full Time programmes offered in different faculties of the University of Uyo. UNIUYO Continuing Education gives opportunities to the working class individuals and Business men to further their education too. UNIUYO continuing education takes care of all part-time programmes. These programmes are found in the school of continuing education of the University of Uyo.

These programmes are categorize into the following levels:

  • Sub-Degree (Certificate/Diploma)
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Postgraduate Diploma and Higher Degrees

The sub-Degree (Certificate/Diploma) have programmes in the following faculties in UNIUYO Continuing Education:

  • Faculty of Arts
  • Social Science Faculty
  • Faculty of Education
  • Law Faculty

The Bachelor’s Degree Have Programmes in the following faculties on part time basis

  • Education Faculty
  • Social Science Faculty
  • Faculty of Business Administration
  • Faculty of Arts

The Postgraduate Programmes offers the following Full Time/Part Time programmes for both Post Graduate Diploma (PGD), MBA, M.Ed.  MSC and Ph.D. in the following Faculties.

  • Faculty of Business Administration
  • Faculty of Arts
  • Social Sciences
HOW TO APPLY FOR UNIUYO CONTINUING EDUCATION

Follow the steps below for successful registration

  • First, visit university of Uyo official website on uniuyo.edu.ng
  • Click on Schools at the upper middle of the home page
  • Select the last option which is captioned school of Continuing Education
  • This will take you to the various programmes in the School Of Continuing Education
  • When you have finally chosen the programme of your choice
  • Next, click on Portal on the upper right hand of the home page which will popup.
  • Click on Admission Forms on the side hand side bar of the portal home page. Allow it to load. Then
  • Click on e-forms (a form will appear for you to fill)
  • Select Post Graduate Diploma among the options
  • Fill out the required data too
  • Click Make Payment and allow to load. The Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) is generated. Take Note of the RRR for future use.

How to make payment for UNIUYO School of Continuing Education Registration
  • You can make payment online with your debits card or print out the RRR then take it to any commercial bank branch of your choice to make payment. Then
  • Visit uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals/
  • Click on Admission Forms on the side hand side bar of the portal home page. Allow it to load and then
  • Click Register on the upper middle of the portal page
  • Enter your RRR number on the Textbox and then
  • Click Get Login Details.
  • Use the login details to gain access to the portal to have your registration done.
  • Finally, Submit and print out the registration slip for other direction.

Equally Important: Intended applicant whose programmes did not appear on the portal are advice to visit the School Of Continuing Education. Their office is located opposite Akpan Ekpo market at University of Uyo town Campus opposite Ikpa Road Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Further more, application are also done manually at the school premises.
