What are the Programmes Offered in Lagos State College of Health Technology?

The following programmes are offered in Lagos State College of Health Technology.

  • Community Health
  • Environmental Health
  • Health Information Management
  • Medical Laboratory
  • Morbid Sciences
  • Pharmacy Technician

The above programmes are for both National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND). They last for the period of four years. These includes eight semesters with two semester each academic session. On the conclusion of the two years National Diploma (ND) graduates proceeds for one year compulsory Internship programme. Lastly, on completion of the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme, graduates proceed for the one year compulsory National Youth Service Corp (NYSC).

What are the Requirements for Admission into Lagos. State College of Health Technology?

The following are requirements for admission into Lagos State College of Health Technology;

  • First, interested applicants must have a minimum of five credit passes in their O-level result(s). The subjects must include; Mathematics, Physics, English language, Chemistry and Biology at a maximum of two sittings.
  • More so, applicants for any one of the National Diploma (ND) programme must have registered for the just concluded JAMB and chose Lagos State College of Health Technology as first choice institution. Those who did not must carry out a change of institution on JAMB Portal and chose Lagos State College of Health Technology as first choice institution. Furthermore, applicants in this category must upload their O-level result on JAMB CAPS.

O-level Result Verification fee for two sittings; N15000 only.

  • Lastly, applicants must be at least 17 years of age before applying.
