MAU cut off mark 2025-Madibbo Adama University Yola

The MAU cut off mark is 160 for all the programs of the institution. On the other hand JAMB official cut off mark is 140. The management of the Madibbo Adama University decide to raise their own higher than that of JAMB for administrative convenience. The faculty of Engineering in the Modibbo Adama University is a very competitive faculty. Therefore, applicants for anyone of the programs under this faculty should have an impressive score on their UTME. Scoring the MAU cut off mark which is 160 is not enough as admission with such score will be difficult to get in this faculty. Thus, applicants should score from 220 to 250 to have a greater chance of admission. Those with less score can also apply for the MAU post UTME under the faculty of engineering.

Everyone as far as they score from 160 and above can apply but their chance of admission is minimal. College of Medical Sciences which has programs such as medicine and surgery, and nursing science is very competitive. The limited admission slot of the faculty always meet high number of post UTME applicants. It therefore means that applicants to this college with lower score from 200 to 160 are at disadvantage of being given admission. Applicants to this faculty should score at least from 270 to 300 for a greater advantage of being given admission. Therefore, to avoid the issue of spending another one year at home due to lower JAMB score, applicants with lower JAMB score should have a change of program to another faculty which is less competitive. And which will guarantee them admission.

More so, applicants to this faculty are also advice to use only one sitting O-level result. This is because O-level is also one of the criteria use in issuing out admission after calculating the average point.
