Requirements for Admission into Nasarawa State College of Nursing Lafia

Prospective applicants must have the following requirements before going forward to apply;

  • First, applicants must have a minimum of five credit passes in their O-Level result relevant subject which must include; Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, English Language and Physics at not more than two sittings. Those combining their result(s) must know that WAEC/WAEC, WAEC/NECO and NECO/NECO can go together while those using NABTEB must get all five credit at one sitting.
  • More so, applicant must be at least seventeen (17) years of age.
  • Furthermore, applicants for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing must have registered for the just concluded JAMB and chose Nasarawa State College of Nursing Lafia as their first choice institution. Those who did not chose the school as their first choice institution must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal. More so, they must have sat for the UTME and score a considerable point.
  • Applicants must prepare themselves for the entrance examination which will cover subjects such as Mathematics, English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Current Affairs.
