The College of Nursing-St Charles Borromeo Onitsha was established out by the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha. This was as a desire for the church to contribute in filling the existing gap in the production nursing manpower in Nigeria as a result of mass exodus of the existing ones abroad seeking for greener pastures. Thus, the St Charles Borromeo Specialist Hospital, Onitsha was expanded to accommodate the college of Nursing. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION INTO COLLEGE OF NURSING-ST CHARLES BORROMEO
- Applicant must have registered for the 2024 JAMB and put the College of Nursing Science St Charles Borromeo Specialist Hospital.
- Applicant must have also sat for the UTME and score from 120 and above. Thus, the UTME subjects combinations includes: Use of English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
- Those who did not choose the College of Nursing St Charles Borromeo Specialist but have the interest to study their nursing science in the school must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal.
- Applicants must also have at least five credit passes on their O-level result relevant subjects which includes: English Language, Biology, Mathematic, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings.
- Applicant must be at least 17 years of age before applying.

REQUIREMENTS AT THE APPLICATION VENUE
- WASSCE, NECO, or GCE Certificate(s) not more than two sittings.
- Photocopies of other credentials Certificate of Birth / Age declaration
- Marriage Certificate (if Married) and Baptismal Card.
- 3 copies of recent passport photographs with white background
- Photocopy of School Testimonial.
