The University of Uyo has started the sales of post graduate screening form. The programmes rang from Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) for both full time and part time. Masters for both full time and part time and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) for both full time and part time. Read below to see your status of eligibility for UNIUYO 2024/2025 post Graduate programmes:
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS FOR UNIUYO 2024/2025 POST GRADUATE
Read through the following
- Firstly, Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Applicants should be a graduate of university of Uyo. Or any other University recognized by the senate of the University of Uyo. Holders of Higher National Diploma can apply
- Secondly, applicant for Masters’ degree programme should be a graduate of the University of Uyo or any other university recognized by the senate of the University. With a Second Class Honours degree (irrespective of CCGPA)
- Candidates for M.Sc Medical Microbiology should be graduate of any of the following i. Microbiology ii. Virology and a PGD in Microbiology iii. MBBCH / MBBS or its equivalent.
- Applicants for Doctoral Degree programmes should be graduate of the University of Uyo or any other recognized University with a master’s degree. With a dissertation and a CGPA of not less than 60%(B)

OTHER REQUIREMENTS INCLUDES
- All candidates must have at least five pass on O-level Result (WAEC/NECO) Relevant subjects including mathematics and English language in not more than two sittings ( candidates with O-level Result from 2017 down must present their O-level certificate as statement of result will not be accepted from them)
- Candidates for PGD, LLM and PhD in law must have credits pass in literature in English. While those seeking admission into faculty of agriculture must have credit pass in chemistry as one of the five relevant O-level subject stated above
- All registered applicant must undergo a screening test which will cover their area of specialization.
- National Youths Service (NYSC) discharge certificate, Exemption Certificate or Exclusion Certificate will be require from all applicants.
- Candidates with certificate through remedial programme must show evidence of having remedial in relevant subject externally.
- Each candidate must meet up with the required qualification of their different department.
- Applicant must write and submit a mini proposal on the following heading: Tittle, candidate’s name, Abstract, Introduction/Aims/Objectives, Relevance of the study, Methodology, Ethical Issues, Expected Results, Innovations and References (minimum of 20 references)
- Finally, no admission without a transcript. Therefore, all candidate must make sure that their official transcript reaches the office of ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY, POST GRADUATE SCHOOL UNIVERSITY OF UYO.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
- Applicants must pay the sum of N20,000 through online payment or in any commercial bank branch of choice
- To make payment generate REMITA RETRIEVAL REFERENCE (RRR) through eportals.uniuyo.edu.ng
- Generate your login details after payment using your RRR
- Login and complete our registration
- Print and make the necessary signings
- All completed forms must be submitted with the photocopies of relevant documents. Duplicate of receipt of payment for application form.
- Lastly, submit all documents to the administrative secretary, post graduate school, university of Uyo.
