The school of Basic Nursing at Unity College of Nursing Bwari Abuja offers the general nursing programme. The general nursing programme last for a period of three (3) years of six semesters. More so, the general nursing programmes has been accredited (provincial) by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria to operate. Furthermore, graduates of general nursing programme gets inducted as Registered Nurses (RN) by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Lastly, this is achieve after the graduates have taken their professional examination conducted by NMCN.

School of Basic Midwifery

The School of Basic Midwifery at Unity College of Nursing Bwari Abuja offers Midwifery programme. Also, the basic midwifery programme last for the duration of three (3) years of six semesters. Due accreditation has also been given to the basic midwifery programme by the NCMN. Furthermore, graduates of Basic Midwifery programme get inducted as Registered Midwifes (RM) by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Thus, this is only achieve after their professional examination conducted by the body in addition.

Eligibility Requirements

Candidates for admission into Unity College of Nursing must meet the following requirements:

  • Prospective candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in O-level result(s). The five subjects must include the following: Biology, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, and English Language at not more than two sitting.
  • More so, interested candidates using NABTEB must obtained all five credit passes at one sitting. Thus, they cannot combine NABTEB with any other result.
  • Lastly, applicant must get dispose that there shall be entrance examination conducted by the college for applicants. Thus, the examination will cover the following subjects; Biology, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and current affairs. More so, applicants with the highest score will be contacted for the next stage of the application.
