University of Ilorin, Nigeria is one of the most sort after Universities in Nigeria. Due to their policy of admitting students every year, the management of the school have announced the admission procedure for the year 2024. Read below for the basic requirements and method of application for UNILORIN 2024 Post UTME and Direct Entry.
BASIC REQUIREMENTE FOR UNILORIN 2024 POST UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY
Please read the instructions below carefully before proceeding to registration.
- Applicants must have chosen the University of Ilorin as their first choice institution. Those who did not must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal. Click here to see UNILORIN cut off mark.
- All applicants must upload their O-Level results on JAMB portal. Furthermore, applicants for Direct Entry must upload their O-level result alongside their A-level certificate (OND, HND, IJMB, JUPEB, or BSC) on JAMB portal in addition.
- Applicant with Awaiting Result can also apply. But their result must be available before admission will be given.
- You must ensure that you have a personal, valid and active email address and phone (GSM) number before commencing the registration process.
- Application screening fee is N2000.
- Candidates must have at least five credit passes on their O-Level relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at maximum of two sittings. Note that applicants for health related programmes such as medicine and surgery, pharmacy, nursing science etc. must have their five credit passes on only one O-level sitting.
METHOD OF REGISTRATION FOR UNILORIN
Follow the step by step procedure for your registration.
- Click here to visit UNILORIN portal or you can also click here to visit UNILORIN website. Then click on UNDERGRADUATE PORTAL on the homepage.
- Using the ADMISSION MENU displayed on the left-hand side of the homepage click on PREADMISSION SCREEENING REGISTRATION.
- Complete the displayed fields by filling with required data (e.g. JAMB Registration Number, Surname etc.)
- Then click on GET DETAILS button for UTME/DE information.
- Fill in all necessary details as required on the display page (e.g. O-level and/or A-level grades or AR for candidates with Awaiting Results).
- Then proceed to make payment by clicking on the MAKE PAYMENT BUTTOON which will lead you to Remita platform. You can make your payment using your debit card or printout the payment invoice to make payment at any commercial bank branch of your choice. If you are making your payment online do not refresh your browser while payment process is ongoing to avoid multiple debits from your bank account. Furthermore, if you have problem during payment, enter your JAMB registration number on the Pre-Admission Screening Registration page and then click on CLICK HERE on the upper side of the portal page to resolve it.
- On successful payment: click on ADMISSION LOGIN on the left hand side of the undergraduate portal: enter your JAMB Registration Number and Surname and then click on LOGIN.
- Proceed by clicking NEXT STEP button to continue, and fill in all your necessary details.
- Then click the SUBMIT button when you are sure all information have been correctly provided.
NOTE FOR DIRECT ENTRY (DE) APPLICANTS
- The procedure for Direct Entry application is same as stated above.
- In addition, Direct Entry candidates are required to select their highest academic qualification from the DROP-DOWN and then click on Applicants are expected to click OK on the dialog box when done.
- Thereafter, proceed to click on SAVE when concluded
All applicants must read and note the following
- Enter your results carefully as error from results will be deemed as deliberate falsification of results. Lastly, this will lead to automatic disqualification at any stage of discovery.
- Applicants who wishes to upgrade from UTME to Direct Entry after the close of POST UTME application should click on the link UPGRADE UTME TO DE. This is available on the UNILORIN PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING website.
Currently, the University of Ilorin 2024 post UTME and Direct Entry registration is not on yet. It is believe this will be out very soon as JAMB is almost concluding their examination proceedings for 2024. Once this is announce, we will update it on this page.
