What are the Requirements for UNIJOS Post UTME/DE 2024?

JAMB Requirements: This application or admission opportunities are open for those who took part during the just concluded JAMB 2024. Thus, post UTME i.e. level 100 applicants must have registered for the last JAMB and chose the University of Jos as their first choice institution. Also, they must have taken the UTME and score the University of Jos cut off mark and above. Furthermore, those who did not chose the University of Jos as their first choice institution but have the interest to study there must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal.

This can only be done if the intended applicants have the required University of Jos cut off mark and above. Selecting the right subjects combination for the programme you want to study during JAMB registration is also important. Thus, choosing wrong subject combination which are not in line with the programme applied for will deny such applicant admission. O-level Requirement: The minimum O-level requirement is five (5) credit passes (in either NECO, WAEC, GCE, and NABTEB) in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language. These five credit passes must be gotten at a maximum of two sittings. Furthermore, UNIJOS Post UTME applicants must upload their O-level result on JAMB CAPS. Note that uploading of O-level result is very important as failure to do so may deny such candidate their admission.

What are the Requirements for Direct Entry Admission into University of Jos?

Advanced / O-Level Academic Requirements: Applicants applying for the Direct Entry slot (i.e. level 200) must have any one of the following qualifications: NCE, HND, OND, IJMB, JUPEB, IJMB, BSc, or its equivalent before going forward to apply. More so, Direct Entry applicant must have a minimum of five credit passes in their O-level result(s) relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings. Lastly, both Advanced certificate and O-level result(s) must be uploaded on JAMB CAPS.

JAMB Requirements: Those applying as Direct Entry candidates must have registered for the last 2024 JAMB. More so, during the registration must have chosen the University of Jos as their first choice institution. Those who did not chose University of Jos as first choice institution can also apply by first of all carrying out a change of institution on JAMB portal. They must make sure that they chose the University of Jos a first choice institution.

What Are The General Requirements for UNIJOS Post UTME/DE 2024?

The following are the requirements in which both Direct Entry and Post UTME applicants must have before applying:

  • Both Direct Entry and Post UTME applicants must participate in the University of Jos Post UTME online registration.
  • Application must be submitted before the closing date.
  • They must use their active personal email address and valid phone (GSM) number for the registration.
  • The screening application fee is a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2000) only for both Direct Entry and Post UTME applicants.
