The programme offered in School of Psychiatric Nursing, Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital Kware is Psychiatric Nursing. The programme is a three years programme of six semesters. More so, each academic session has two semesters each. Lastly, the programme has been accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) in addition.

 Admission Requirements

  • Interested applicant must first of all have at least five credit passes in their O-level relevant subjects which must include Mathematics, Physics, English Language, Chemistry, and Chemistry at a maximum of two sitting. More so, the O-level subjects must be either from WAEC, NECO or NABTEB. Thus, WAEC/WAEC, WAEC/NECO, NECO/NECO can be combine while all five credit passes in NABTEB can only be obtained at one sittings.
  • Applicants must be at least 17 years of age before applying.
  • Lastly, applicants must know that they will sit for entrance examination which will be Computer Based Test (CBT). More so, the examination will cover the following subjects Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Current Affairs, and general studies. Lastly, applicants with the highest will be selected for the next step of the admission which is the oral interview.
Screening Application Schedule
  • Application starts from 1st September, 2024.
  • Application Closes on 21st October, 2024
  • Entrance Examination which will be Computer Based Test (CBT) will take place on 26th October, 2024.
  • Venue for entrance examination is Blue Crescent Schools, Mabera Sokoto
  • Screening interview will take place on 28th October, 2028
  • Venue for screening interview is at Bafarawa Hall, Federal Neuro Psychiatric Hospital Kware, Sokoto.
  • Time is 8:00am for both entrance examination and oral interview.

How to Apply

  • Application forms are obtained at the school premises. Therefore, interested applicants are to go to the college with a non-refundable fee of N10,000 .
