School of Psychiatric Nursing Aro, Abeokuta, Nigeria hereby inform the general public and suitably qualified applicants that admission forms are available for sale for the 2024 admission year. The application form is for the admission of students for the 2025/2026 academic session of the institution. The School of Psychiatric Nursing Aro is located in Neuropsychiatric Hospital Aro, Abeokuta, Nigeria. There are various requirements which applicants must have before they are qualified to apply. Admission Requirements

The following are the 2025 admission requirements into School of Psychiatric Nursing Aro, Abeokuta;

  1. First, interested applicants must have completed their Senior Secondary School Education and taken their O-level examination. More so, they must at least score five credit pass which must include the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English Language, and Mathematics at a maximum of two sittings. Furthermore, the O-level maybe one or two of the following; WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or GCE. For those combining WAEC/WAEC, NECO/NECO and WAEC/NECO can be combine will all five credits must be gotten at one sitting for those using NABTEB.
  2. More so, Registered Nurse Certificate (RN) from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Thus, this means that applicants must be graduate of basic nursing and a registered member of the Nigerian Nursing Council.
  • Furthermore, applicant must have a minimum of one year Post Qualification/Registration from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
  1. Also, applicants as Registered Nurse (RN) must have at least one year of Post Qualification working experience in hospitals and other healthcare facilities.
  2. Lastly, prospective applicants with Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSC) degree from recognized University can also apply for a specialty in Psychiatric Nursing. Candidates in this category must show evidence of completion of the National Youths Service Corp (NYSC) Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
