The National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM) Uromi, Edo State was established by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the Federal Ministry of Education for the production of middle and high-level manpower. This was specifically for the Nation’s economics and industrial growth in construction technology, applied sciences and Management sciences areas.

Basic Requirements for Post UTME/HND Admission

Below are the basic requirements for Admission into National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM) Uromi:

  • Most importantly, interested applicants for both 2025 post UTME/HND must possess a maximum of five credit passes in their O-level result relevant subject at a maximum of two sittings. More so, the five credit pass must include Mathematics and English Language. The remaining three subjects must be relevant to the course a candidates is applying to study. Post UTME candidates must upload their O-level result on JAMB CAPS.
  • Secondly, candidates for Post UTME (National Diploma programmes) must have participated in the just concluded JAMB and chose National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM) as their first choice institution. More so, those did not chose the school as their first choice institution can also apply but must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal.
  • More so, Higher National Diploma Students must have at least a Lower credit at the National Diploma (ND) level before they can proceed to apply for admission. They must have obtained their National Diploma certificate either from National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM) or any other recognized Polytechnic within or outside Nigeria. Also, their National Diploma transcript must reach the office of the Registrar National Institute of Construction Technology and Management (NICTM) on time.
  • Lastly, Higher National Diploma (HND) applicants must show evidence of completion of their one year compulsory Industrial Training (IT) for admission is given to them.

  • Then on the next page, download the application form of your choice (HND Application Form, ND Application Form, Part Time / Evening Programmes Application Form and Certificate Programmes Application Form)
  • Print it in colour
  • Fill the printed form carefully with block letters
  • Then click here to visit Remita website to make payment for the screening application form. On remita page do the following
  • Click on the Pay Federal Government Agency.
  • Then in the MDA column enter National Institute of Construction Technology
  • Fill the remita form carefully according to the instructions provided.
  • The generate your RRR (Remita Payment Code)
  • Proceed to make payment either Online using your debit card or print out the payment invoice (click on Print Slip) to make payment at any commercial bank branch of your choice for the screening application fee which is N5000 only excluding transaction charges
  • Lastly, scan your completed carefully filled form and your remita payment slip or Bank Teller if payment was done in the bank to admissions@nict.edu.ng or submit manually at the school admission office.
