Admission Requirement for Federal Polytechnic Bayelsa Post UTME/HND 2025 Admission

Interested candidates for post UTME must have the following requirements;

  • They must have a minimum of five credit passes in their O-level (WAEC, NECO, GCE) result relevant subjects. These relevant O-level subjects must include Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings.
  • More so, they must have participated in the just concluded JAMB registration and chose the the Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, Bayelsa State as their most preferred institution. Those who did not chose the school can also apply but they must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal in addition.
  • Also, post UTME candidates must to upload their O-Level (WAEC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB) result(s) on JAMB CAPS. Those who do not upload their result(s) on JAMB CAPS will not see their admission.
  • Lastly, post UTME applicant must score the official the Federal Polytechnic Ekowe, Bayelsa State cut off mark and above. Thus, the official cut off mark is 120 and above for all courses. Applicants must have the required UTME subject combinations for each of the course they are applying to study.

Admission Requirements for HND Candidates

  • First, they must also possess a minimum of five credit passes in their O-level (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB) result relevant subjects. These relevant subjects must include Mathematics and English Language at a maximum of two sittings.
  • More so, they applicants must have National Diploma with minimum of Lower Credit in relevant academic field. Your HND programme applying for must not be different from what you study during your National Diploma (ND) in addition.
  • Lastly, applicants must have their evidence of one year Post National Diploma (ND) cognate experience (Industrial Training).
