History of Nafisatu College of Nursing College of Nursing and Midwifery Kwankwaso

The Nafisatu College of Nursing and Midwifery is the first private college of nursing sciences in Kano state and the second in the whole of the northern states of Nigeria. The Nafisatu College of Nursing was established by the former governor of Kano State his Excellency Engr. (Dr) Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso in 2019. More so, the Nafisatu College of Nursing is located in Kwankwaso town Kano. Thus, the motive for the establishment of the Nafisatu College of Nursing is for the training of more nurses and midwives to bridge the gap of lower numbers of nurses and midwifes to carter for the need of the people.

What are the Requirements for Admission into Nafisatu College of Nursing?

First, interested applicant for admission into Nafisatu college of Nursing and Midwifery must possess at least five credit passes in their Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent.  The five subjects must include; mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at a maximum of two sittings. WAEC and WAEC, NECO and WAEC and NECO and WAEC can be combine in addition.

Applicants must be at least 17 years of age before they can apply. Applicants who are under the ages of 17 years will not be given admission no matter their score.

  • Forms can also be obtained at the Nafisatu College of Nursing and Midwifery premises
  • To obtain the form, applicants must make a payment of non-refundable screening application fee of Ten Thousand Naira at any of the two venues mentioned above.
