The Government of Akwa State has open a portal for recruitment into the Akwa Ibom State ministry of health. The announcement for the recruitment portal opening was made by the Akwa Ibom State government. More so, the announcement was made on 23 June, 2025 via official Facebook page of Akwa Ibom State government. According to the announcement the Akwa Ibom State ministry of health Service recruitment portal will go live for interested and qualified applicants to submit their bio-data and upload their credentials. - National Diploma (ND) Nursing or Health Science Related Courses: Applicants with this level of education must also apply for positions which are related to their academic qualifications. More so, applicant must obtain their academic qualifications from recognized institution in Nigeria.
- O’Level: Furthermore, interested applicants with O-level (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or GCE) as their highest level of education must know that they are applying for the positions of junior staff. More so, they must have at least five credit passes in the result in but Sciences, art or social science related subjects.
- More so, generally, all interested applicants must have a minimum of five credit passes in their O-level result including. These must include Mathematics and English Language at a maximum of two sittings.
- Furthermore, All applicants must have their First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) in addition.
- Those with Trade Test can also submit their data. This is because employment opportunities for technical services also exist in ministry of health and other agencies in Akwa Ibom State public service.
- Lastly, applicants must attend the age of 18 years before submitting their data. Underage applicants for employment into Akwa Ibom State ministry of health recruitment will not be attended to.
