Ladoke Akintola University of Technology is a technological base university in Nigeria. This institution has stand a test of time since establishment. The management of the school is calling on interested applicants to register for their post UTME. Each applicant must qualify before proceeding to registering for their desired programme. The following are the important requirement for LAUTECH 2024 post UTME and Direct Entry
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS FOR LAUTECH 2024 POST UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY
Applicants must have the following:
- Applicants must have chosen LAUTECH as their First choice Institution during JAMB registration. Furthermore, those who did not make LAUTECH their first choice institution but willing to study in the institution must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal.
- Applicants must score the required LAUTECH cut off mark for 2024 Post UTME before proceeding to register. Click here to view LAUTECH cut off mark for all the programmes of the school.
- Candidates must have at least five credit passes on their O-Level relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings. Applicants for Direct Entry must have a minimum of Upper Credit and JUPEB / A-level in addition.
- Applicants for both Post UTME and Direct Entry must upload their O-Level certificate on JAMB portal. In addition, Direct Entry applicants must upload their O-level certificate alongside their A-level certificate (NCE, HND, ND, BSC, JUPEB, IJMB etc.) on JAMB portal.
- The screening application fee is N2000 only. In addition, N300 is charge as transaction charges which is applicable to all InterSwitch payments.
- Applicants must make use of valid email address (Gmail) and active phone (GSM) number.
PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION
Applicants must us the following steps for a hitch free registration.
- Click here to visit LAUTECH website. Then click on BEGIN APPLICATION under the GENERAL MENU and then type in your UTME REGISTRATION NUMBER on the next page.
- Your details (UTME REG. NO and FULL NAME) will appear on the next page. You can then proceed to make payment. You make your payment online using your debit card (note that after payment you cannot make corrections to your names, so make sure that all information supplied are correct.
- Those applicants for Post UTME are to click on POST UTME APPLICANT link under the general menu. Then supply your LOGIN DETAILS on the next page.
- Make sure all your data are correct before making payment. Thus, any successful payment cannot be refunded.
- Then proceed to CREATE ACCOUNT after payment. Enter your password, phone number and email address. When the account opening is successful, proceed to filling the application form by LOGIN into your account.
- Take note that after you have successfully create an account always make use of the RETURNING APPLICANT link under GENERAL MENU. In addition, always use BEGIN APPLICATION link until you have successfully made payment and create an account.
- You will be able to fill the APPLICATION FORM and complete the application process as as RETURNING APPLICANT.
- Preview your application form for errors because you will be unable to change your passport photograph, and other details you supplied. Make sure the passport photograph you upload is your own.
- Then click on SUBMIT to finish registration.
- Print the acknowledge slip for further use.
Applicants should note the following
- Criteria for admission will be through Post –UTME Computer Based Test CBT) screening exercise. Furthermore, there shall be oral interview for Direct Entry candidates for admission into the various faculties of LAUTECH.
- Applicant’s passport background to be uploaded must be a white background in JPEG formation and not more than kb in size.
- Applicants with AWAITING RESULT must upload the result in two weeks’ time the result has been release. Thus, uploading results after two weeks elapse may not be accepted. Also, inconsistencies with names on O-level certificate and JAMB result may not be accepted by the University. This may lead to disqualification. Therefore, names of candidates on JAMB result and other required documents must be the same.
- Candidates who do not present themselves for the CBT as scheduled will automatically not be considered admission.
- Direct Entry applicants are expected to send their academic transcript to the office of the Registrar, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso.
- More so, applicants are not allow to come with their cell phones to the screening venue for the screening exercise.
- Furthermore, any false information discovered from a candidates at any point in time shall be properly handled. Admission for such candidates shall be withdrawn and the candidates will be handed to the proper law enforcement agencies for proper persecution in addition.
- Lastly, applicants should beware of fraudsters because LAUTECH will not be liable for any transaction with any unauthorized individual.
