Imo State University is one of the public higher institution in Imo State, Nigeria. The school is inviting qualified applicants for her post UTME and Direct Entry admission application. Therefore, applicants must have pre-requisite qualification before going ahead to apply. The followings are the basic qualifications and procedure on how to register for IMSU 2024 Post UTME and Direct Entry.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR IMSU 2024 POST UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY
Make sure you have the following before going forward to apply to avoid disqualification:
- All applicants for Post UTME must have scored 140 and above on their UTME.
- Both Post UTME and Direct Entry applicants must have made Imo State University their first choice institution during JAMB registration. Thus, those who did not do so but have the interest to study in Imo State University must effect changes on JAMB portal.
- All applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes on their O-level (WAEC, NECO or its equivalent) relevant Subjects including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings.
- Applicants with Awaiting Result (AR) can also apply. But their result must be available before they can be given admission.
- Active Email address (Gmail) and reachable phone (GSM) number are required during registration.
- Direct Entry Applicants must have their qualifying result (IJMB, JUPEB, ND, NCE, HND, BSC. Etc.) Available.
- All applicants must upload their O-level result on JAMB portal. Furthermore, Direct Entry applicant must upload their O-level result alongside their Qualifying Certificate on JAMB portal.
- Application fee is N2000 only.
- Generally, all applicants must pass through their various Faculties / Departmental requirements.
PROCEDURE FOR REGISTRATION
Use the following steps for a successful registration.
- Click on imsu.edu.ng or visit imsu.edu.ng/admission-portal
- Click on PORTAL on the upper right hand side of the home webpage
- Screw downward to the left hand side of the portal page. Then click on ADMISSION which is the last option after staff.
- Under ADMISSION click POST UTME/DIRECT ENTRY which is the first option.
- You are required to SIGN-UP to create account to continue your application. Therefore, you must take note of your USERNAME and PASSWORD
- Then click APPLY FOR POST-UTME/DE. Then more options will appear which are POST-UTME, Direct Entry, Post-Graduate and ICEP.
- Choose your application Category and Proceed.
- Fill the application form carefully to avoid mistakes.
- Preview to check for errors.
- Click SUBMIT. Then proceed to make payment. You can make payment online using your debit card or printout the payment slip with ID and proceed to any commercial bank branch of your choice to make payment.
- After payment return back to login with your Login credentials to print your photo card. For future reference.
- Wait for further instructions.
- Click here to print your POST UTME and DIRECT ENTRY result
NOTE: Imo State University 2024 post UTME is not yet out. But the above are the requirements and procedure for registration. More so, the other programmes like post graduate, JUPEB, Pre-Degree, ICEP Admission, Distance and Online Learning Admission also use the same process for applications.
