Imo State Polytechnic, Umuagwo is a technological base higher institution in Imo State, Nigeria. The management of Imo State Polytechnic has announced the commencement of their admission application. These announcement covers both Post UTME for National Diploma (ND) and registration for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes of the school. There are important requirements each applicant must meet before he or she can proceed to register. Below are the requirements and procedure for registration for IMOPOLY 2024 Post UTME/HND Application.
APPLICATION QUIDLINES FOR IMOPOLY POST UTME/HND APPLICATION
Read the following carefully before moving forward to apply.
- Applicants for National Diploma (ND-Regular) must score at least 100 and above on their UTME.
- A minimum of four subjects is require on JAMB subject’s combination. Thus, these subjects must be relevant to your choice course / programme.
- Applicants must have chosen Imo State Polytechnic as their first choice institution during JAMB registration. Therefore, those who did not do so must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal.
- Applicants for National Diploma (ND-Regular) with JAMB must upload their O-level result on JAMB portal.
- All applicant for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) must have at least five (5) credit passes at O-Level Result (WAEC, NECO or its equivalents) in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at a maximum of two sitting.
- Applicants for Higher National Diploma (HND) must have National Diploma (ND) certificate or Statement of Result on relevant courses they wish to apply for.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) must also have a one (1) Year working experience in their various fields of their studies.
- More so, Higher National Diploma (HND) must have a minimum of Lower Credit on their National Diploma certificate.
- Higher National Diploma (HND) applicants must show an evidence of JAMB result printout which got them admission for their National Diploma.
- Active email address (Gmail) and valid phone number are required during registration.
- Candidates without JAMB are required to apply for JAMB regularization through JAMB portal with N3500 only before approaching the school or website for admission.
- Lastly, an application fee of N2000 is also required for Post UTME admission.
HOW TO APPLY FOR IMOPOLY 2024 POST UTME/HND
Below is the mode of application for IMOPOLY POST UTME/HND. Follow the steps carefully for a hitch free registration.
- Visit: imopoly.edu.ng
- Click on APPLY NOW on the top middle of the homepage. This will take you to the application page.
- First, upload your scanned passport photography.
- Fill the application form accurately. Then click APPLY
- It will take you to payment page. You can pay online using your debit card or you print the payment invoice (ID) and take it to any commercial bank branch of your choice to make payment. After payment you will get am email notification of payment.
- Return to then website to complete your registration.
- Print your APPLICATION SUMMARY PAGE. This will be needed during your SCREENING / VERIFICATION
NOTE: The application for IMOPOLY 2024 post UTME is not on yet. The applications for other programmes by the school are ongoing. These programmes include 2023 Evening, weekend and certificates Courses for both ND and HND. The procedures for registration for all the programmes in Imo State Polytechnic is the same as stated above. Thus, applicant must be extremely carefully while filling their application form to avoid mistakes of choosing the wrong programme.
