Requirements for 2025 JAMB Registration

Interested applicant for the 2025 JAMB registration must have the following before proceed to apply;

  • National Identification Number (NIN). All application must have enrolled in National Identification Management Commission (NIMC) and have their NIN.
  • More so, applicants must have their personal cell phone and a registered / active SIM card.
  • Candidates must have their own functional email address.
  • Furthermore, both UTME and Direct Entry applicant must have at least five credit pass in their O-level result(s) including Mathematics and English Language at a maximum of two sitting. Make sure your result(s) are uploaded on the CAPS during registration.
  • Candidates with Awaiting Result (AR) can also apply. But you must upload once released by the examination bodies.

How to Register JAMB 2025

The method of application for the 2025 JAMB is the same as the previous years. Thus, follow the steps below on how to register JAMB 2025;

  • First, send your National Identification Number (NIN) to 55019 as SMS through your cell phone. Know that service charge is N50 only. Therefore, make sure you have up to N50 airtime balance. Balance must not be in bonus.
  • Then you will be replied with a JAMB profile code. This contain your basic information extracted from NIN portal.
  • Copy out your profile code immediately.
  • Then proceed to vend your JAMB registration PIN. You can vend your pin by yourself using any one of the following platform: opay, Paga, remita etc. More so, while vending your pin make sure you choose the category your applying for; either UTME or Direct Entry. Also, if you cannot vend your pin yourself then it is advisable to contact someone who can do it for you to avoid loss of money. This can be done at the registration venue. beware of fraudsters.
  • Go with your registration pin and NIN to the registration center for your registration. Make sure you go to an approved JAMB Registration Center (CBT) for your registration.
  • Get your registration done which include (biometrics, face capturing and uploading of O-level(s) / A-level result if applicable).

  • Carefully select your choice of institution and programme of study.
  • More so, make sure your application is submitted. Those who wishes to take mock should apply during registration.
  • Lastly, JAMB 2025 registration slip will be given to you.

 

Important Dates for 2025 JAMB Registration

Applicants must take serious note of the dates on how to register JAMB 2025 below

  • JAMB Registration starts on Friday 31th January, 2025 and closes on Wednesday 5th March, 2025.
  • Direct Entry Registration starts on Monday 10th March and closes on Monday 7th April, 2025
  • Date for Printing of Mock Examination Slip is Thursday April, 2025
  • Mock Examination takes place on Saturday 5th April, 2025
  • JAMB Examination starts on Friday 25th April, 2025 and ends on Monday 5th, May 2025
