The management of the Federal University Lokoja Kogi State, Nigeria calls on interest candidates to apply for admission into the various programmes of the institution. There are requirements which applicants must fulfil before proceeding to apply to avoid disqualification. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT FOR FULOKOJA 2024 POST UTME/DE
Intended applicants must take note of the following:
- Both Post UTME and Direct Entry applicants must have chosen the Federal University Lokoja their first choice institution during JAMB registration.
- FULOKOJA post UTME applicant must score the FULOKOJA cut off mark and above being able to apply. Click here to view FULOKOJA cut off mark for all the programmes of the school. However, those whose cut off mark is not enough to apply for the programme of their choice are advice to change to another programme.
- Post UTME applicants who have interest to study at Federal University Lokoja but did not choose FULOKOJA as first choice institution must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal.
- Both FULOKOJA 2024 Post UTME/DE applicants must possess at least a minimum of five (5) credits passes in their O-level relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings.
- Applicants for Nursing science and medicine must possess at least a minimum of five (5) credits passes in their O-level relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at one sitting.
- Only applicants with O-level result are eligible to apply. Those with awaiting result cannot apply.
- Both FULOKOJA 2024 post UTME/DE must upload their O-level result on JAMB portal. Furthermore, those for Direct Entry must upload their O-level alongside their A-level certificate or statement of result on JAMB portal.
- Use an active email address and a valid phone (GSM) number for the registration.
- Application screening fee is N2000 only for FULOKOJA 2024 post UTME/DE applicants.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Follow the guidelines below for your FULOKOJA 2024 Post UTME/DE applications.
- Click here to visit the Federal University Lokoja website.
- Then click on ADMISSION button. Select UNDERGRADUATE on the drop-down. Then select POST-UTME PORTAL on the second drop-down. It will take you to the FULOKOJA 2024 post UTME/DE portal.
- Then enter your 2024 JAMB registration number on the column. Then click on CHECK ELIGIBILITY. This will confirm your eligibility if you are qualify to apply.
- Click on the BIODATA button and update all your personal information and examination record(s) which includes; the number of sittings and examinations details for O-level (exams number, months, year of exams and grades). Direct Entry applicants are to update their previous academic records as requested in addition. If you upload any wrong information will lead to your disqualification.
- Proceed to payment page. Generate your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) payment invoice of N2000 charges. Payment can be made using online with your debit card or print out the payment invoice and proceed to any commercial bank branch of your choice to make payment. ELIGIBILITY PAGE
- Here, chose your choice of Programme from the drop-down list of courses offered by the Federal University Lokoja. It is based on your selected preferred programme you will be evaluated on. You must ensure that your UTME score and your UTME and O-level subjects meet the eligibility criteria for the programme you chose in addition.
- Then select your five O-level subjects that match your choice of programme and submit.
- Proceed to upload a new O-level Examination (NECO/WAEC) scratch card for verification. Note that on the occasion of submitting a wrong scratch card details will lead to disqualification. Scratch card to be use only once in addition.
WAEC RESULT(S) VERIFICATION
Follow the steps below for the verification of your WAEC result(s):
- Click here to visit WAEC portal and create a candidate account.
- Then select CERTIFICATE ACCESS (candidates) category on the option.
- The fill out the form correctly and complete the sign-up process.
- Proceed to login with your details.
- Furthermore, provide your necessary information.
- Proceed to access your certificate.
- Then click on the SHARE
- Then choose the certificate you want to share.
- Proceed to enter the email address provided in your Post-UTME portal.
- Then click on the PROCEED button to complete the WAEC sharing process.
Then click PROCEED TO THE CBT REGISTRATION button which will take you to the CBT schedule page.
CBT SCHEDULE PAGE
Do the following on the CBT schedule page:
- First, choose your five O-level subjects you wish to be examine in.
- Secondly, click on the SUBMIT button to process your CBT screening date and time schedule.
- Then proceed to print out your screening acknowledgement slip. Take a serious note of the screening date and time on your slip.
- You are to go along with your JAMB registration slip and FULOKOJA 2024 Post UTME/DE.
APPLICANTS MUST ALSO NOTE
- Applicants for both post UTME and Direct Entry will undergo a Computer Based Test (CBT) Screening Exercise.
- The Computer Based Test (CBT) will take place at the Federal University of Lokoja’s Centre for ICT Permanent Site, Felele Campus, Lokoja, Kogi State.
- Applicants must make sure that they arrive at the CBT screening venue on time. That is two hours before the stipulated time on their slip.
- You must also ensure that your UTME Score and UTME and O-level subjects meet the eligibility criteria for your chosen programme.
- Applicants must as a matter of important be strictly adhere to the batches, specific time and dates assigned to them.
- Wrong and false information will lead to automatic disqualification and any payment made prior to the discovery of the false information will not be refunded.
- Central admissions Committee of the University is in charge of granting admission to people after application and successful screening of applicants.
