Medicine and Surgery is the most competitive programme in the Federal University Dutse that is why it’s cut off point is the highest. This is done to reduce the number of applicants for administrative convenience. Applicants who score a little above the 240 cut off mark have the advantage to apply for the incoming Post UTME application. But their advantage of being given admission is minimal.
To really be sure of admission, applicants should have up to 280 to 300 and above. Those with lower UTME score are advice to change to another programme which he / she has an advantage of being given admission.
