Admission Requirements for Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Post UTME/HND

Interested candidates must possess the following before going ahead to apply for any of the programmes through Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Post UTME/HND 2025 admission;

  • Prospective applicants must first and foremost have a minimum of five credit passes in their O-level result. The five credit passes must include Mathematic and English Language at a maximum of two sittings. More so, Post UTME and Undergraduate applicant must upload their O-level result(s) on JAMB CAPS.
  • Secondly, Post UTME candidates must have participated in the just concluded JAMB and choose the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi as their first choice institution. Those who did but have the interest must carry out a change of institution on JAMB CAPS. More so, those for undergraduate studies must have chosen Federal Polytechnic Bauchi (affiliate to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University) as their first choice institution on JAMB CAPS.
  • Furthermore, the official cut off mark for applicants applying for the Federal Polytechnic Bauchi Post UTME (National Diploma) is 120 and above. Also, the official UTME cut off mark for candidates applying for admission into the undergraduate programmes is 140 and above. Thus, applicants must have selected the right UTME subject combination which are suitable for the course they are applying for.
  • Those applying for part-time programmes do not necessary need to participate in JAMB.
  • Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) must have completed their National Diploma / Higher National Diploma respectively. More so, they must have completed and present their evidence of completion of Industrial Attachment. Lastly, they must have their NYSC discharge certificate / exemption/exclusion certificate.
  • Lastly, applicants for part-time programme must possess the basic qualifications respectively. JAMB registration is not compulsory for them in addition.
