IJMB and JUPEB Programmes
IJMB is Interim Joint Matriculation Board while JUPEB is Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board. More so, IJMB is an examination body coordinated by the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. More so, the programme is a one year programme. Students of this programmes are given the choice to choose three subjects which are related to the propose course of studies in the University. One the other hand JUPEB is being moderated by the University of Lagos. It is a nine months programme Advanced Level programme.
On the conclusion of these programmes (IJMB or JUPEB) graduates who have the required score from their three subjects can then use the result to apply for Direct Entry admission into any University of their choice. Which they will start at Level 200. Although it is not all universities that accept IJMB or JUPEB for admission but high a percentage of Universities in Nigeria do accept IJMB or JUPEB especially Federal and States Universities.
A point to note is that applicants must know the right three subjects to select while registering for anyone of the programmes.
