BASIC RQUIREMENTS FOR COOU 2024 POST UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY

Read below carefully to know if you are qualify to apply:

  • All applicants for both Post UTME and Direct Entry must have chosen Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University as their choice institution during JAMB registration. Thus, those who did not must carry out change of institution on JAMB Portal.
  • Click here to see the official cut off mark for Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University. If you do not meet up the course cut off mark you are advice to carry out a change of course on JAMB portal.
  • Applicant must have at least credit passes on their five O-level relevant subjects (WEAC, NECO or its equivalent) including Mathematics and English Language at maximum of two sittings.
  • Application screening fee is N2000 only.
  • Applicants for both post UTME and Direct Entry must upload their O-level Certificate on JAMB portal. Furthermore, those for Direct Entry must upload their O-level certificate alongside their qualifying certificate (NCE, ND, IJMB, JUPEB, HND and BSC) on JAMB portal.
  • Must make use of an active email address (Gmail) and a valid phone (GSM) number during online registration.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Use the steps below for a hitch free registration:

  • Visit Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University website on coou.edu.ng/
  • Click COOU PORTAL on the top right of the homepage.
  • Select POST UTME APPLICATION or DIRECT ENTRY APPLICATION on the drop down depending on which you are registering for. Then, allow it to load to open the school portal.
  • Select GENERATE 2024/2025 POST UTME INVOICE or DIRECT ENTRY INVOCE under UNDERGRADUATE
  • Enter your JAMB REGISTRATION NUMBER
  • Click on SIGN IN to generate invoice. You can make your payment online using your debit card. More so, you can print out your payment invoice and take it to any commercial bank branch of your choice to make payment.
  • Then return to the registration portal and Click FILL POST UTME FORM APPLICATION FORM or FILL DIRECT ENTRY APPLICATION FORM depending on what you are registering for. Enter your JAMB registration number
  • Completely fill the registration form by filling all blank fields.
  • Preview to check for errors.
  • Click SUBMIT and then print the ACKNOWLEDEGEMENT SLIP

NOTE: The process of Direct Entry Registration is the same as POST UTME. Therefore, you must carefully click on 2024/2025 DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING option on the drop down on the COOU PORTAL. The same process of registration is applicable to other programmes of the school like JUPEB, PART-TIME, Postgraduate programmes. These programmes are ongoing. Interested applicant can apply.
