The management of Borno State University invite the general public and interested applicants to their 2024 post UTME. This application is only for candidates who must have first chosen Borno State University as their first choice institution during the concluded 2024 JAMB. The announcement is for both Direct Entry and UTME applicants for all the undergraduate programmes of the school in the 2024/2025 academic session. What are the Requirement for BOSU Post UTME /DE?

There are various requirements which each applicant must have before going forward to apply for the BOSU Post UTME/DE. Although both UTME and Direct have the same requirements, they also have different requirements. Therefore, we will outline the requirements for each separately.

What are the requirement for UTME candidate for BOSU Post UTME/DE?

JAMB Requirements: As stated earlier, interested applicants must first of all must have registered for the just concluded JAMB. During JAMB registration, the Borno State University was chosen as their first choice institution. Those who did not must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal if they have the required cut off mark for the programme they are applying for.

Lastly, applicants must have chosen the right four UTME subjects for their and taken the Computer Based Test (CBT). Not choosing the right UTME subjects will definitely not grant you admission. If your subjects are wrong, you are advice to carry out a change of programme to the one that your UTME subjects grant you admission.

O-Level Requirements: Applicants for BOSU Post UTME/DE through UTME must have sat for the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE). This may be either WAEC, NECO, NABTEB or its equivalent. Then, they must have score at least five credit passes in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings. Lastly, applicants are advice to upload their O-level result(s) on JAMB CAPS. Failure to do this will deny an applicant their admission no matter their UTME score.

 What are the requirement for Direct Entry candidate for BOSU Post UTME/DE?

Academic Qualification: Applicant for BOSU Post UTME/DE through Direct Entry must have any one of the following qualification; ND, HND, JUPEB, IJMB, or BSc. They must also have a considerable pass mark in any of the above mentioned. Which must be in a relevant academic field applying for.  Direct Entry applicants must also have their five credit passes in O-level relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings. Direct Entry applicants must also upload their O-level result(s) alongside their A-level result on JAMB CAPS.

JAMB Requirement: Direct Entry applicants must have registered for the just concluded JAMB. They must have chosen Borno State University as their first choice institution. Those who did not chose Borno State University but have the interest to study in the school must carry out a change of institution on JAMB CAPS before going forward apply for the post UTME.

General Requirements for BOSU Post UTME/DE?

  • Both Direct Entry and UTME applicants must register for the BOSU Post UTME/DE.
  • More so, the required screening application fee is N2000 only for both Direct Entry and UTME applicants. Note that this is a non-refundable
  • They must use an active email address and a valid phone number for the application.
  • Application must be done before the closing date as there may be no extension of date for application.
