The management of the Bauchi State University calls on interested applicants to register for the various undergraduate programmes of the school. REQUIREMENTS FOR BASUG 2024 POST UTME/DE
Interested applicants must possess the following before applying for BASUG 2024 Post UTME/DE
- First, applicants for both BASUG 2024 Post UTME/DE must have registered for the just concluded JAMB and choose the Bauchi State University as the first choice institution.
- Applicants for BASUG 2024 post UTME must have sat for the just concluded UTME and score the BASUG cut off mark and above. Click here to view the Bauchi State University cut off mark.
- Both BASUG 2024 Post UTME/DE must have at least five credit passes in their O-level relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings.
- Applicants for both BASUG 2024 Post UTME/DE must upload their O-level result(s) on JAMB portal. Furthermore, Direct Entry applicants must upload their O-level result(s) alongside the A-level certificate (IJMB / JUPEB / ND / HND / NCE / BSC.) on JAMB portal in addition.
- Application screening fee is N2000 only for both BASUG 2024 Post UTME/DE.
- Applicants must use their personal active email address and a valid phone (GSM) number for the application.
- There are some individual departmental / faculty requirements which applicants must fulfil before being admitted.
METHOD OF APPLICATION FOR BASUG 2024 POST UTME
Online method of application is use for the BASUG 2024 Post UTME/DE registration. Therefore, use the steps below for your registration.
- First, click here to visit Bauchi State University Official Website.
- Then click on the PORTAL button at the upper right of the homepage.
- Move to UNDERGRADUATE on the dropdown
- Then click on the POST UTME ONLINE SCREENING button on the second drop down. Allow to load and take you to the application postal.
- Then, on the application portal, click on the NEW APPLICATION button at the upper middle of the portal home page. And allow to load for account activation.
- Here, you have to enter your name, a valid phone number. Make sure you are using your personal phone number for easy communication with you. You will be redirected to the login page.
- On the login page, use your phone as your USERNAME and as PASSWORD. If this is successful, it will take you to the welcome page.
- The next stage is to make payment. Therefore, confirm your information on the page and proceed to select a method of payment. If your payment is successful, proceed to fill your application form. You must use a valid phone number as it will be use as a communication medium in regards to your online application.
STEP TWO
- On your choice of programme, you are to select one choice of programme of study from the dropdown list of available programmes.
- Add your educational qualifications: here, you are to enter a maximum of two sittings of O-level result(s). Furthermore, Direct Entry applicants expected to enter their former institution, class of diploma / statement of result obtained (ND, HND, NCE, and A-Level) in addition. Grade details of relevant O-level results like centre number and exam number of all results must be entered.
- Upload your recent colour passport photograph with a plain background. Passport must be in JPEG format and should not be more than 50kb in size.
- Preview your entries to avoid mistakes which may lead to your disqualification.
- Click on the SUBMIT APPLICATION button to submit your application.
- On submission, your application page is displayed. The serial Number displayed on the application page is your APPLICATION ID and also your subsequent login username.
- Then click on the PRINT APPLICATION button to print your application acknowledgement slip.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PHYSICAL SCREENING
Candidates should note that their application status will be communicated to them via SMS on their date, time, and venue of their screening. You must attend the physical screening in person before your application can be processed. Furthermore, you are required to present the originals of the following relevant documents:
- O-level Result(s)
- JAMB Result with candidate’s face on it
- JAMB acknowledgement slip for Direct Entry applicants.
- Letter of Origin
- Certificate of birth / Declaration of age
- A copy of colored printed 2024 post UTME application form.
- A-level result(s), Diploma or IJMB for Direct Entry applicants.
- Photocopies of all documents presented for screening will also be at the centre.
