If you choose Akwa Ibom State University as your first choice institution during the just concluded JAMB registration this information is for you. Akwa Ibom state University also known as AKSU is own and manage by Akwa Ibom State government. AKSU is inviting eligible applicants for their 2024/2025 post UTME / Direct Entry. Read below to know if you are eligible to apply for AKSU Post UTME 2024/2025.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR AKSU POST UTME 2024/2025
Take note of the following to know your eligibility status;
- Applicants for Post UTME must score a minimum of 140 and above.
- Candidates must have at least five credits in five relevant O-level Subjects including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings.
- Candidates must have made Akwa Ibom State University their first choice institution during JAMB registration or have check of institution on JAMB portal in addition.
- Candidate’s average score from JAMB and O-level results will be used for final selection into programmes.
- Also take note that cut-off point also varies from one course to another.
- Applicants for both Post UTME and Direct Entry must upload their O-level result on JAMB portal
- Direct Entry candidates must also upload their A-level, OND or NCE in relevant area on JAMB portal alongside their O-level result.
- Screening application fee is N2000 for both Post UTME and Direct Entry
- Candidates must provide scratch card(s) for O-level result confirmation

Application Starts from Monday 5th August, 2024.
Registration Closes on Friday 30th August, 2024
PROCEEDURE FOR REGISTRATION
Follow the following step for a successful registration;
- Visit aksu.edu.ng
- Check the right hand bar and click on STUDENTS
- Then click on PORTAL
- UNDERGRADUATE and POST GRADUATE will display.
- Click on UNDER GRADUATE it will direct you to portal homepage.
- On the homepage click STARTS
- A box will come out click on ENROL
- On the second display box click ADMISSION
- Type in your JAMB Registration Number
- Click on the ARROW pointing right to verify and continue registration
- You will be requested to make a payment of N2000.
- You can make payment online with ATM card or you visit a commercial bank branch
- After payment return to the portal to complete your registration
- Upload your necessary documents
- Click SUBMIT APPLICATION to submit
- Finally, click PRINT to print the printout or photo card. The printout will be used for screening
