Cut off mark 2025 Federal University Lokoja

The official cut off mark for the Federal University of Lokoja is 170 for some programmes of the school. Some programmes of the school like medicine and surgery have higher cut off mark. COLLEGE OF HEALTH SCIENCE (NURSING SCIENCE)

Nursing Science is one most competitive progammes in the Federal University of Lokoja. That is why the university had to raise the cut off mark for nursing science higher than other programmes. FULOKOJA cut off mark for Nursing Science is 220. The 220 cut off mark is to give access to applicants with such score to apply for the school post UTME. Those with score lower than 220 cannot apply for nursing science. Applicants with 220 can apply but admission cannot be guarantee to them such score.

Applicants for Nursing Science should score at least from 250 to 280 for their admission to be guaranteed. Those with lower score are advice to change to a less competitive programme to avoid wasting another year without admission. Since programmes under the faculty of engineering are very competitive in the Federal University of Lokoja, the institution had to raise her cut off mark to 200. This is above other programmes of the school. And is for the administrative convenience of the school. Having 200 does not give an applicants the guarantee for automatic admission in any of the programmes of the faculty. It is just to give the applicant access to the registration portal. Medicine and surgery is the most competitive programme in the Federal University of Lokoja. This is due to the limited slots for admission in the programme and the large number of applicants into the programme. To reduce the number of applicants to medicine and surgery, the management of the school had to increase the cut of mark for medicine and surgery to be higher than all other programmes of the school. The FULOKOJA cut off mark for medicine and surgery is 250 and above. This will give those with such score to be able to apply for FULOKOJA 2024 post. The chance to have admission with 250 UTME score is minimal.

Therefore, applicants for medicine and surgery should score from 280 to 300 and above in UTME for them to be sure of admission. Those with lower UTME score are advice to change to another programme of their choice.
