The management of the Federal University Gashua has announce the admission process for fresh students into the 2024 academic session. Therefore, qualified applicants are invited to apply. Read below for the eligibility status and the method of application for FUGASHUA 2024 Post UTME and Direct Entry.
ELIGIBILITY FOR APPLICATION / SCREENING FOR FUGASHUA 2024 POST UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY
An applicant must possess and carry out the following before he / she is eligible to apply for the FUGASHUA 2024 Post UTME:
- Applicants for both FUGASHUA 2024 Post UTME and Direct Entry must have chosen the Federal University of Gashua as their first choice institution during JAMB registration.
- FUGASHUA 2024 Post UTME applicant must have score the University cut off mark and above. Click Federal University of Gashua to view their cut off mark for all programs of the school.
- Interested applicants who did not chose the Federal University Gashua their first choice institution but have score above the school cut off mark in their UTME must carry out a change of Institution on JAMB portal. The Federal University Gashua must be made first choice.
- Applicants for both FUGASHUA 2024 Post UTME and Direct Entry must have at least five credit passes on their O-Level result (WAEC, NECO, and NABTEB) relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings.
OTHERS INCLUDE:
- Both FUGASHUA 2024 Post UTME and Direct Entry applicants must upload their O-level certificate on JAMB portal. Furthermore, FUGASHAU Direct Entry applicants must upload their O-level result alongside their Higher Certificate (ND, NCE, HND, IJMB etc.) on JAMB portal in addition.
- FUGASHUA Direct Entry applicants who has Distinction, Credit or merit in NCE, IJMB ( points and above), Upper Credit in National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) Lower Credit and above are eligible for the online screening.
- Screening Application fee is N2000 only payable online with debit card or at any commercial bank branch.
- Applicants for both FUGASHUA 2024 Post UTME and Direct Entry must use an active email address and a valid phone (GSM) number for registration. Ensure that the phone number used belongs to you for it will be used in subsequent communication with you.
- Applicants should also know that there are some individual faculties and departmental requirements they must have before being admitted.
METHOD OF APPLICATION.
The method of application is ONLINE. Therefore, follow the steps below carefully for a hitch free registration.
- First, click here to visit the Federal University Gashua website. Or click here to visit the FUGASHUA 2024 Post UTME application portal at once.
- If you are using the first option click on APPLY FOR POST UTME on the middle left of the school website homepage. More so, if you are using the second option it will take you directly to the application portal.
- On the portal page click on the NEW APPLICATION Enter your NAME, and a valid PHONE NUMBER. Furthermore, ensure that the phone number used belongs to you for it will be used in subsequent communication with you. You will be directed to a login page.
- Login using your PHONE NUMBER as your username and also password. When you login successfully, it will take you to the application welcome page.
- On this stage you are to confirm the information here and then proceed to select a payment method. You can make your payment online with your debit card or print out your payment invoice, then take it to make your payment at any commercial bank branch of your choice.
- After payment return to the application portal and then fill your application form. Enter your personal information which include your names and other relevant information. Use the same phone number you used during account creation.
STAGE TWO
- Select your choice of program from the list of programs of studies available on the portal.
- Add your EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS. Only one or two sitting(s) O-level is accepted. Also, Direct Entry applicants are expected to enter their former institution, class of diploma / statement of result obtained (ND, HND, NCE, A-level). A great details of your O-level result like centre number, and then examination number of all results you have entered will be required.
- UPLOAD YOUR PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH. Here, you are expected to upload a recent scanned passport photograph with a clear and plain background from your PC. Lastly, the picture must be in JPEG format and not more than 50kb in size.
- Preview your entries to avoid mistakes as these may lead to disqualification. Therefore, all information must be checked to make sure they are correct.
- Then, click on the SUBMIT APPLICATION button to finish your application. Note that without clicking the submission button your application is not complete.
- Lastly, click on PRINT APPLICATION button to print a hardcopy of the application form. Also take note of the SERIAL NUMBER on your slip as this will act as your APPLICATION ID. Finally, take note for your login username and password.
AT SCREENING CENTERS
Applicants are required to attend the screening in persons before their application can be process. Applicants are required to present the originals of the following credentials:
- O-Level Certificate(s)
- JAMB original result with candidate’s photograph on it for Post UTME applicants. While registration acknowledgement slip is for Direct Entry applicants.
- A-level Result, Diploma or IJMB as applicable to you. This is for Direct Entry applicants only.
- Certificate of Birth / Declaration of Age.
- Certificate of Origin
- A copy of printed Post UTME / Direct Entry application form. This must be printed in colour.
CONCLUSION
Photocopies of the above listed credentials shall be submitted at the screening centre. In addition, they will be accompanied by a utility card (scratch card(s) for the checking and confirmation of the submitted O-level result(s) from the examination body(s). Lastly, applicants will be contacted via SMS on their phone for their date, time and venue for their screening.
Currently, the application for both FUGASHUA 2024 Post UTME and Direct Entry is not on yet. It is on note that it will be out very soon since JAMB is almost done with their 2024 examination proceedings.
