BUK 2024 post UTME and Direct Entry-Bayero University Kano

Bayero University Kano through the management has announce their 2024 post UTME and Direct Entry screening application. This notice hereby call on qualified applicants to visit the school portal to get themselves registered before the closing date. Below are the important requirement which applicants for BUK 2024 post UTME and Direct Entry must have before proceeding to apply.

BUK 2024 post UTME

BASIC REQUIREMENT APPLICANTS FOR BUK 2024 POST UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY

  • Prospective candidates must have registered and sat for the UTME examinations.
  • Must have chosen Bayero University Kano as their first choice institution during JAMB registration.
  • Must have scored 180 and above which is the official cut off mark of Bayero University. Subjects must be relevant to the programme applied for. Click here to view JAMB subject combinations.
  • Prospective applicants must have at least five (5) credit passes in their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE or Equivalent). These examinations must either be conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or the National Examinations Council (NECO) at not more than two (2) sittings. The pass subjects must include Mathematics and English Language with other three (3) relevant subjects.
  • They must register and write the post UTME test to be conducted by the University.
  • Those who did not choose Bayero University Kano as their first choice institution during JAMB registration but wishes to study in the school can do so by first carrying out a change of Institution on JAMB portal. The must have scored from 180 and above Bayero University cut off mark. Click here to view courses / programmes offered by Bayero University.
  • Applicants for both post UTME and Direct Entry must upload their SSCE Certificate on JAMB portal. Furthermore, Direct Entry applicants must upload their SSCE alongside the A-Level certificate (ND, HND, NCE, IJMB, JUPEB or BSC) on JAMB portal.
  • Screening application fee is N2500 only.
  • Applicants must make use of active email address (Gmail) and a valid phone (GSM) number during application.

BUK METHOD OF POST UTME REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Follow the steps below for a successful registration

  • Click here to visit Bayero University Kano official website. Then on the homepage click on POST UTME APPLICATION PORTAL.
  • Login into the application portal using your UTME NUMBER and UTME AGGREGATE (JAMB total score).
  • Then upload your scanned colour background PASSPORT-SIZED PHOTOGRAPHY from your system.
  • Fill in carefully the APPLICANTS PARTICULARS FORM (bio-data).
  • Print your PAYMENT INVOICE to make payment of N2500 either online using your debit card or take the payment invoice to anyone of the commercial bank branch listed on your payment invoice.
  • After payment click here to go back to the BUK website again. Then click on POST UTME APPLICATION PORTAL
  • Login as done before. Your payment will automatically validate which you will proceed to print your PERSONALIZED EXAMINATION CARD. Note that no applicant will be allow to sit for the test (post UTME) without a personalized examination card.

POST UTME TEST

The date for Post UTME test will be announce through media and via email addresses and phone numbers of applicants supplied during registration. The venue, Time and Sitting Order for the test will be display on the applicants Examination Cards.

PROCEEDURE FOR BUK DIRECT ENTRY SCREENING APPLICATION

Use the steps below:

  • Click here  to visit Bayero University website.
  • Click on DIRECT ENTRY APPLICATION PORTAL
  • Login to the portal using the following DIRECT ENTRY REGISTRATION NUMBER, the PROGRAM APPLIED and your GENDER.
  • Upload your scanned PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH
  • Fill in (update) the APPLICANTS PARTICULARS FORM (bio data)
  • Print your PAYMENT INVOICE. You can make payment online using your debit card or you take your payment invoice to any commercial bank branch listed on the invoice to make your payment.
  • After payment click here to return back to BUK website.
  • Then click LOGIN This will make your payment to be automatically validated.
  • Fill in (update) O-LEVEL (SSCE) and A-LEVEL QUALIFICATION FORM (OND, NCE, HND, IJMB or JUPEB)
  • Lastly, print your ACKNOWLEDGEMENT LETTER and keep it safe for future use.

NOTE: All Direct Entry applicants must know that only registered / screened online will be considered for Direct Entry Admission. Furthermore, also know that currently BUK 2024 post UTME and Direct Entry application is not on yet. But it will soon be out since JAMB is almost concluding their examination proceedings.
