Ibom Metropolitan Polytechnic is one of the leading private higher institutions in Akwa Ibom State. Therefore, interested applicants are invited to apply for the 2024 screening application. Furthermore, candidates must take note of the following guidelines for the applications.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS FOR BOTH NATIONAL DIPLOMA (ND), HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA (HND) AND OTHER CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES.
Applicants should take note of the following requirements:
- All applicants for National Diploma (ND) must have registered for last JAMB. They must have taken the UTME.
- Applicants for National Diploma (ND) must score at least 120 and above during the last UTME.
- Applicants for Higher National Diploma (HND) must have National Diploma (ND) certificate from a recognised institution in Nigeria.
- Both applicants for National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) must at least five credits in their O-level relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings.
- Those for National Diploma (ND) must have made Ibom Metropolitan Polytechnic their first choice institution during JAMB registration. Furthermore, those who did not make the school their first choice institution during JAMB registration but have made the JAMB official cut off mark can make a change of institution on JAMB Portal.
- The screening application fee for National Diploma is N2000 only.

HOW TO APPLY FOR 2024 POST UTME AND ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES OF IBOM METROPOLITAN POLYTECHNIC
Use the steps below for a successful registration:
- Click here to visit the school portal.
- On the homepage of the portal page START NOW on the left hand side. A box will appear on the middle of the portal homepage.
- Click on Then another box will appear.
- Click IMP NATIONAL DIPLOMA on the left side
- Enter your PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL ADDRESS. Click on the arrow pointing right. Allow to load.
- Fill in the required data and click on the arrow pointing right again. Allow to load.
- Select your NATIONALITY, STATE OF ORIGIN, L.G.A. ORIGIN, ADDRESS, and enter EMAIL ADDRESS. click on the arrow pointing right again
- Upload your PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPH by selecting one from your PC.
- Select and enter all the required data.
- Make payment online using your debit card. Verify your payment
- Click SUBMIT to submit application.
- Print your photo card for references.
