FUTO 2024/2025 Post UTME and Direct Entry

This is for candidates who made Federal University of Technology, Owerri their first choice during the just concluded JAMB registration.  The institution has announced her post UTME and direct entry screening application. There are several requirements which every prospective applicants must have before proceeding to register. This page has taken time to outline the necessary requirements and the procedure for registration. Therefore, read below to get yourselves with the necessary information about FUTO 2024/2025 Post UTME and Direct Entry

BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR FUTO 2024/2025 POST UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY

Take note of the following important requirements:

• Candidates for post UTME must score from 150 and above in their UTME
• Applicants for Direct Entry must be holders of A-level/HND/ND and BSC in relevant discipline and subjects.
• Candidates who did not choose Federal University of Technology as their first choice institution but score 160 and above must make a change of institution on JAMB portal.
• All applicants must have 5 credits in relevant O-level (NECO/WAEC/NABTEB) subjects including English language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
• Both Post UTME and Direct Entry applicants must upload their O-level result on JAMB portal
• Direct Entry applicants must upload their O-level alongside their higher qualification (ND, HND and BSC)
• The screening application fee is N2000 only
• Use a valid email address (preferably GMAIL) and active phone number during registration for future communication.
• Failure to successfully register for the screening will lead to disqualification.

HOW TO REGISTER

Use the following steps for a hitch free registration

• Click here to visit FUTO website
• Click PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS (this will take you FUTO portal)
• Click GENERATE INVOICE under Post UTME APPLLICATION
• Type in your JAMB Registration Number. This generate your payment invoice with your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
• You can make the payment online with your ATM card on remita.net or proceed to any commercial bank branch of your choice.
• Click here Visit the school portal again
• Click on APPLICATION FORM
• Type in your JAMB registration Number again
• Input your O-level Result
• Review your entries to make sure it is error free
• Click SUBMIT to submit application.
• Click PRINT to print your acknowledgment slip.
• Patiently wait for further information from the school

In addition, when you have completed your registration successfully a link will be given to you to UPLOAD your O-level result (NECO/WAEC/NABTEB) on the school portal.

Lastly, Direct Entry candidates must make sure their academic transcript reaches The Office of the Registrar Federal University of Technology, Owerri. Failure to submit the academic transcript will make such candidates not being considered admission.

NOTE: FUTO 2024/2025 Post UTME and Direct Entry is on sale. Try and apply before the closing date as there may be no extension of application. The Application to commence on 1st August, 2024 and closes on 31st August, 2024.
