The Emirate College of Health Sciences and Technology Kano (ECOHSAT) is one of the health care training institutions in Kano State. The health training institution started operation in 2015 for the training of global needed health care professionals. More so, the health institution has been approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and national Educational/professional Regulatory bodies in Nigeria and the Ministry of Health Kano State.

The programmes offered in Emirate College of Health Sciences and Technology Kano (ECOHSAT) includes;

Requirements for Admission at Emirate-College of Health Sciences and Technology Kano (ECOHSAT)

First, applicants for admission into any of the above programmes for Emirate College of Health Sciences and Technology Kano (ECOHSAT) must have at least five credit passes in their O-level result(s) relevant subjects. These relevant subjects must include Mathematics, English Language, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry at not more than two sittings.

  • Secondly, applicants for National Diploma (ND) for any of the programmes at Emirate College of Health Sciences and Technology Kano (ECOHSAT) must have registered for JAMB. Then chose Emirate College of Health Sciences and Technology Kano (ECOHSAT) as their first choice institution. Those who did not most carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal.   • Screening application fee is a non-refundable fee of N10000 for (ND, HND, PD, Certificate, and Conversion programmes). While N6500 for Applied Remedial Studies, and N20000 for Degree programmes

  • Also, candidates for Professional Diploma (PD) in any of the programmes must have completed their Higher National Diploma (HND) on the programme they are applying for.
  • Lastly, applicants from both Kano state and other states in Nigeria are eligible to apply.

  • First, you can click here to visit the school website to start your application or you click here to visit the Emirate College of Health Sciences and Technology Kano (ECOHSAT) admission application portal at once to start your application.
  • Then on the application portal click on the New Application button to begin your application. Input the required data (name, phone no.). Your phone number will be used as your Username and Password on your next login
  • You will be directed to the Login page. Enter the phone used during account creation to login as both Username and Password.
  • On login, make payment for screening application fee. Make sure that you select the category you are applying for (ND, HND, and PD) before paying. You can make your payment at any commercial bank branch of your choice or carry out your payment online using your Debit card.
  • After payment, proceed to make application by entering the required details. A valid phone number is required which will be use on your next login and also save as a means of communication in respect to your application.
Step Two 
  • Select the programme you are applying for from the dropdown list of programmes available on the portal.
  • Enter your educational qualification and details: You are to use a maximum of two sitting O-level result(s). More so, enter your result(s) details carefully which include exam number, centre number, and examination year.
  • Furthermore, upload your recent Passport Size photograph with a plain background. Also, passport must not be bigger than 150kb in size and must be in JPEG format only.
  • Then, preview your entries for error corrections. Then, click on the Submit button to finish your application in addition.
  • Lastly, you are to print your application slip or acknowledgement slip for further use especially during screening. Your phone number saves as your application ID and login username in case you wish to access your application portal some other times.

  • Originals and photocopies of relevant credentials such as O-level results
