This is to inform the general public that the last batch for admission into Bayelsa State School of Nursing Sciences is out. The Bayelsa State School of Nursing is located in Tombia. This great institution is owned by the Beyelsa State Government. The school has the mission to train competent nurses into the healthcare system in the state in particular and Nigeria in general. This admission is for National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) general Nursing, Registered Nurses / Registered Midwives. REQUIREMENTS INTO BAYELSA STATE SCHOOL OF NURSING TOMBIA

Candidates must possess the following before applying.

  • Applicants for ND general nursing must have registered for the 2024 JAMB and choosen the Bayelsa School of Nursing as first choice institution. Those who did not chose Bayelsa State School of Nursing must carry out a change of institution on JAMB portal.
  • Candidates for ND general Nursing must have score from 140 and above in their last UTME which the subject combination must be Use of English Language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Applicants for any one of National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND) general Nursing, Registered Nurses / Registered Midwives must possess at least five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, in either WAEC, NECO or GCE at not more than two sittings.
  • Applicants must not be less than 17 years of age.

Application Closes on 18th December, 2024

METHOD OF APPLICATION

The method of application is online. Therefore, interested applicants are to do the following.

  • Then proceed to the bursary unit of Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences to change the your bank teller to receipt.
  • Then go with the receipt which contains your unique number
  • Then click here to visit the admission online application portal
  • Fill the form carefully to avoid mistakes which may disqualify you.
  • Upload O-level result, JAMB result and other relevant documents
  • Finally, Submit your application
  • Then Print Out the Acknowledgement Slip (make sure that your Acknowledgement slip, bank teller and receipt are well preserve for future references). They will be needed at the entrance examination venue

APPLICANTS MUST TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING

Candidates must go to the school compound to collect the application form with the following documents

  • Two copies of coloured passport size photograph with a plain background.
  • Original copy(s) and Photocopy of your WAEC/NECO/ GCE Certificate or statement of result(s).

  • original JAMB result slip for applicants into National Diploma (ND) General Nursing
  • Original / photocopy of Certificate of Origin.
