Akwa Ibom State college of Education is a State own public higher institution in Akwa Ibom State. Located in Afaha Nsit, Nsit Ibom L.G.A. Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. The sole purpose of the institution is for the training of future teachers or educationists. The school offers programmes for both National Certificate in Education (NCE) and Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed.) in various academic fields. AKSCOE is affiliated to the prestigious University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State for her degree programmes. - Candidates who might have taken part in the 2024 JAMB UTME and scored at least 140 and above can are eligible for DEGREE Programmes. Click here to see cut off mark for all degree courses in AKSCOE
- Applicants for Direct Entry with a minimum CGPA of 0 (Merit Level) in their relevant academic fields are also qualified to apply for DEGREE Programme.
- All applicants must have at least credit passes on five (5) O-level (WAEC, NECO and NABTEB) relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two sittings.
- Candidates who did not choose Akwa Ibom State College of Education their first choice institution during JAMB registration must effect changes on JAMB portal before proceeding for registration. Thus, NCE candidates should change to Akwa Ibom State College of Education Afaha Nsit while applicants for DEGREE Programmes should change to Akwa Ibom State College of Education Afaha Nsit (Affiliated to University of Uyo).
- Application screening fee is N2000 only for both NCE and DEGREE programmes.
- Applicants with Awaiting O-level Result (AR) can also apply.
- Use an active email address (Gmail) and valid Phone (GSM) Number
HOW TO APPLY FOR AKWA IBOM STATE COLLEGE OF EDUCATION POST UTME
Follow the steps below carefully for a successful registration:
- Visit AKCOE Portal on eportal.akscoe.edu.ng and generate your payment invoice.
- Chose NEW STUDENT on the login page. This will lead you to create your profile.
- Then fill the form correctly and click on SUBMIT to generate payment invoice.
- There are two method of making payment; you can pay online using your debit card using remita.net platform or you print out your payment invoice and take it to any commercial bank branch of your choice to make payment.
- After payment return back to the portal to complete your registration.
- Preview your data to avoid mistakes
- Click PRINT BUTTON to print the 2024/2025 Screening Slip or printout for future reference.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PHYSICAL SCREENING EXERCISE
Go with the following documents to the screening venue to complete your AKSCOE 2024 NCE/DEGREE post screening process:
- Photocopies of O-level Certificate(s) (NECO, WAEC, and NABTEB) or O-level Examination Slip for applicants with Awaiting O-level Result.
- Two office flat files with the Desired Course of Study, and UTME Registration number boldly written on them.
- AKSCOE Admission Screening Slip printed from the College Portal.
- 2024 UTME Original Result Slip printed from JAMB Portal. Thus, this bears the applicants photograph
- Photocopy of Certificate of Origin form applicants’ Local Government
NOTE: The passport photograph uploaded during registration shall be use throughout your stay in the school. Thus, there will be no room for change of passport photograph. Therefore, applicants must be conscious of the passport they use. In addition, this passport will also appear on their final certificate.
