National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing;

The National Diploma (ND) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Nursing is a four years non-terminal programme. The programmes has been approved by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE). More so, necessary accreditation has been given by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Graduates of the programme also proceed to the one year internship programme. Lastly, they go for the compulsory one year National Youth Service Corp (NYSC).

School of Basic Nursing

The school of Basic Nursing at Yagongwo College of Nursing Sciences, Kuje has the department of Nursing. This is the where general nursing programme locate. Furthermore, the programm last for a period of three (3) years of six semesters. More so, the general nursing programmes in Yagongwo College of Nursing Sciences, Kuje has been accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria to operate. Also, graduates of general nursing programme gets registered as Registered Nurses (RN) by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN). Due accreditation has also been given to the basic midwifery programme in Yagongwo College of Nursing Sciences, Kuje by the NCMN. Furthermore, graduates of Basic Midwifery programme get registered as Registered Midwifes (RM) by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
