What are the Requirements for Admission into Kaduna State School of Nursing and Midwifery?
There are various requirements for admission into Kaduna State College of Nursing and Midwifery;
Applicants National Diploma (ND) Nursing must have registered for JAMB and chose Kaduna State College of Nursing and Midwifery as first choice Institution. Those who did not must carry out a change for institution on JAMB portal. More so, applicants for National Diploma (ND) Nursing sat for the just concluded UTME and score 160 and above. You can click here to view cut off mark for other college of Nursing. UTME subjects must include Use of English, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in addition.
Also, candidates for any one of the programmes above must possess at least five credit passes in their O-level results relevant subjects. These subjects must include Mathematics, English language, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at not more than two sittings. Furthermore, candidates for National Diploma (ND) Nursing must upload their O-level result on JAMB CAPS at an approved JAMB Computer Base Test (CBT) Centre. Those who do not upload their result(s) will not be considered for admission in addition.
Furthermore, applicants for Post Basic Nursing programmes must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing License. Must also have a practicing experience in addition.
Also, the Screening application fee for National Diploma (ND) Nursing is a non-refundable fee of N2000 while service fee is N2000, total N4000 only. You can also click here to view the screening application fee for other programmes.
Applicants must be at least 17 years of age before applying. Thus, those under the ages of 17 should not apply as they will not be considered for admission.
The above requirements is for all the programmes offered in Kaduna State College of Nursing and Midwifery respectively except for National Diploma (ND) Nursing that needs JAMB .

Screening Process;
- All qualified applicants for Basic Midwifery will be screened and they must sit for the Computer Based Test (CBT) scheduled to hold from 9th – 13th September, 2024. Shortlisted candidates for the CBT must go along with their original and photocopies of their credentials and their online screening / examination exercise form.
Interested applicants for any one of the programmes offered in Kaduna State College of Nursing and Midwifery must pass through the CBT screening process before they are offered admission.
