What are the Job Requirements for the position of Professor (CONUASS 7)
Applicants for the position of a professor must have a good honours Bachelors’ degree at not less than Second Class Lower Division. More so, they must have a Ph.D. in relevant academic field with a minimum of 12 years of post-qualification experience in teaching, academic research and student supervision from a recognized University.
Furthermore, applicants must have extensive scholarly publications from reputable international and local journals to their credits. Lastly, applicants must show evidence of exemplary academic leadership and also in community services.
What Are the Job Requirements for the Position of Associate Professor / Reader (CONUASS 6)
Applicants for this position must have Ph.D. with at least a nine years of post-qualification experience in both teaching and academic research. Furthermore, applicants must have been student supervisor in recognized university.
Applicants must show trait of academic leadership and also evidence of community services. In addition, they must have evidence of capacity / capability of maturity into a full rank of a professor. Also, their honour degree most not be less than a Second Class Lower.
Note that there applicants for Professorial Cadre will be subjected to positive external assessment (i.e. 1 and 2 above).
What Are the Job Requirements for the Position of Lecturer 1 (CONUASS 5)
Applicants for this position must have Ph.D. with at least a six (6) years of post-qualification experience in both teaching and academic research. Must have been student supervisor in recognized university.
Applicants must show trait of academic leadership with team work (especially in collaborative research) and administrative research in addition. Lastly, applicants’ honour degree most not be less than a Second Class Lower.
What are the Job Requirements for the Position of Lecturer 1 (CONUASS 4)
Applicants for this position must have Ph.D. with at least a three (3) years of post-qualification experience in both teaching and academic research. Must have been student supervisor in recognized university.
Applicants must have a good Master’s Degree with good numbers of scholarly academic research in high ranking national / international journals may also be off advantage. Applicants must show trait of academic leadership with team work (especially in collaborative research) and administrative research in addition. Finally, applicants’ honour degree most not be less than a Second Class Lower Division.
What are the Job requirements for the position of Lecturer II (CONUASS 5)
Applicants for this position must have a good First degree at not less than Second Class Lower Division. They must also have Ph.D. with a Masters’ Degree from a recognized university in addition. Lastly, Evidence of completion of advanced stage of completion of Ph.D. may be of advantage.
What are the Job requirements for the position of Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 2)
Applicants for the position of an Assistant Lecturer must have a good degree of not below the grade of a Second Class Lower with a Master’s degree in addition.
