JOB OBJECTIVES OF TEAM LEAD, VISA SETTLEMENT NIGERIA

The following are the job objective of Team Lead, Visa Settlement Nigeria.

  • You will responsible to supervising and managing the VISA Settlement Desk in line with stated processes
  • You will also be responsible to manage the VISA Settlement Desks in line with stated procedures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF TEAM LEAD, VISA SETTLEMENT

Read below for the duties and responsibilities of a Team Lead, Visa Settlement

  • First, will supervises the prompt and accurate settlement of all variants of VISA Card (Classic, Gold, Premium and Prepaid) across all different transaction types (Domestic and International Transactions) and also across all the available channels (ATM, POS, and Web).
  • Secondly, oversees the timely and accurate treatment of all VISA Dispense errors, chargebacks, presentments cash disbursement reversal adjustments and also refunds.
  • More so, will manage the settlement of VISA First Pay link transactions.
  • Responsible for partnering with Account monitoring and Investigating team in the review and resolution of reconciliation entries on Visa related accounts.
  • Foresee timely upload of all off cycle, annual and monthly credit card repayment and also processing of upload files from other sections of the unit.
  • Will also manages the correct recognition of fees, charges and income for all VISA transactions.
  • Will ensures timely and accurate funding of all offshore accounts.
  • Furthermore, will ensure prompt resolution of discrepancies and enquiries on customers’ accounts and will also be responsible for merchant settlements related to VISA transactions.
  • Will monitor and close all SLAs coming from VISA settlement activity.
  • Ensure proper and adequate stakeholders’ engagement when the need comes.
  • Must ensure that all VISA database activity files are maintained and have them updated
  • Lastly, must review with the business and processing of VISA International monthly billing to the Bank which includes training cost, issuer fees, acquirer fees, etc.
